Make a Difference Day in San Diego

The fourth Saturday of every October is Make a Difference Day. Celebrated all over the country, this is a day dedicated to serving the local community in some way. It's a great day to get involved in a volunteer project anywhere in San Diego or create your own project that can make a difference in the lives of others. Breast Cancer Awareness Month in San Diego

October is devoted to Breast Cancer Awareness. And, here in San Diego, there are numerous ways you can get involved in events, fundraising, and awareness campaigns as well as get support and education about this devastating illness. These events include numerous events planned by the Susan G. Komen Foundation throughout San Diego County, including a race that is actually set for the start of November.
