Memorial Day in San Diego
Each year, there are Memorial Day ceremonies in San Diego to remember and reflect on all of our fallen heroes as a way to thank them for protecting our freedom. This includes Miramar National Cemetery on May 29th at 1:00p.m. and Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery on May 30th at 10:00a.m. The USS Midway Museum also hosts its annual Legacy Week to celebrate Memorial Day with many activities and events. On May 28th at 9:00a.m., there is the Veterans Wreath Ceremony as well as Concert at 7:30p.m. with former members of many American rock bands. May 28-30th offers a Kids Adventure Discovery Zone while May 29-30 is Meet the Aviators and their Planes.
