A2June is a special month for many reasons. It’s the start of summer and wedding season. It’s the end of school for the year. And, it’s full of events and special occasions.

Peonies

One of the reasons we love June so much is that local peonies are in season. And, since it’s such a limited bloom season, we like to recommend that our customers use them for any and all occasions. Here are some examples of the types of peony flower arrangements we offer at our San Diego flower shops:

PEONY LUXE

Pink peonies and pink roses are arranged with garden hydrangea and other seasonal flowers in a gem-lined glass vase.

SAN DIEGO PEONIES

This peony floral display offers a wide array of gorgeous blooms. There are pink and white peonies along with pink calla lilies and green hydrangea in a white glass vase.

A2PERFECT PEONIES

This is a simple and sophisticated floral bouquet of pink peonies. Based on availability, we may have to offer another color due to the high demand during their short blooming season.

PEONY PLEASURE

This beautiful floral arrangement features pink and white peonies as well as dusty miller.

Flowers That Empower

Also, during this time and going forward, we have started something called Flowers That Empower that we are very proud of. This is a new philanthropic initiative that is part of our ongoing mission to help others in our community and across numerous non-profit organizations. For example, we recently handed out flower arrangements to every patient on the third floor of the UCSD Thornton/Jacobs Hospital’s cancer center.

Each month, we’ll feature a seasonal arrangement. For each one sold, we will donate 20% of the revenue to a local San Diego non-profit organization.

Right now, our Flowers That Empower arrangement features a pave of orange roses. It is available in three different sizes and can be delivered nationwide.

Our current nonprofit partner organization is Reality Changers.  They transform lives by providing youth from disadvantaged backgrounds with the academic support, financial assistance, and leadership training they need to become college graduates.
